St. Gerard is 100 Voices (Pre-Kindergarten) through Grade 6 school serving the areas of Westwood, Delton, Elmwood Park, Alberta Avenue, (north of 118 Avenue) and Eastwood (north of 120 Avenue).

At St. Gerard we provide academic programming in a safe and caring environment within the context of our Catholic identity and core values.

St. Gerard offers many opportunities for our students. We are working hard to expand the technology and provide 21st Century opportunities for all the students. Currently we have Smart Board technology in every classroom thanks to the generous donation and hard work of our parent council.  In the fall of 2010 we received a technology grant and are currently updating and restructuring our technology to ensure that St. Gerard is equipped with key technologies that promote innovative teaching and learning.

Our music program is currently being revamped to include new instruments and programming to allow our students an opportunity to experience the arts. Through our Artist in Residency programs students have an opportunity to further their backgrounds with the arts.

Through our 100 Voices program which includes the internationally recognized Reggio philosophy, we are able to provide a high quality educational programming for the year prior to kindergarten. This program has a certified teacher with a passion and expertise in early childhood programming.

Our students have an opportunity through our Student Leadership program to become an active member of the school. Students apply for positions within the school and actively take on roles contributing to the community of the school.

Our afterschool programs such as the Volleyball team and running club allow those students the experience of being part of a school team.
